An approx. 1 hour drive to the Kiel lighthouse out in the Baltic Sea. The offshore trip to the lighthouse 5 nm away is a special experience. On this tour you can not only see the Kiel outer lighthouse but also the inner lighthouse (Friedrichsort) and the Bülker lighthouse. As soon as we let the Bülker lighthouse on the port side (left) pass us, we will enter the offshore area. Depending on the wind strength and direction, the sea can be as smooth as glass or a little more turbulent.

With the boat from SALTY MARINE and the crew with several thousand hours of experience on the high seas, you are always in safe hands. In moderate weather conditions there is also the possibility for you to take over the steering wheel and lead the boat out to sea.

Highlights on this tour are the view from the water and the different lighthouses from a different perspective.

Since the Kiel Canal is the most frequented waterway in the world (next to the Panama Canal), there are usually many ships in the offshore area in front of the lighthouse (waiting for a pilot or entry permit). In addition to the lighthouse tour, we can make a detour to board the pilots on the container ships. Here the pilots will get on the ships that need a pilot when they are sailing.

If we are very lucky, we may also meet Self and Delfi. We have met these two dolphins again and again in the Kiel Fjord and Eckernförde Bay in recent years.
